A Legacy of Faith and Prayer

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful,

All praise is due to Allah, the Allah of the worlds. May peace and blessings be upon His final messenger, Prophet Muhammad (SAW), and upon his family and companions.

This book is a heartfelt gift from me to you, a source of inspiration, comfort, and connection to the Divine that you can carry with you wherever you go. Its origins lie in the legacy of my beloved grandfather, who compiled his own book—a work my father has continued to share with others, offering it freely to anyone in need. Even after my grandfather’s passing, his legacy lives on, and it is with deep gratitude and reverence that I carry this torch forward.

The story behind this book begins with a beautiful encounter during our Umrah journey. At prayer time, I met an incredible woman—the wife of the Prime Minister of Turkey—who gifted me a book filled with powerful duas. I shared this book with my grandfather, and his eyes lit up as he read through its pages. He was so moved by the beauty and depth of the duas that he told me, “I want to compile a book of my own, a guide that makes it easy for people to pray, to know exactly what to say, and when to say it. A book where everything is written clearly, so no one has to wonder what to pray.”

And so, this dua book was established—an effort to compile everything necessary for prayer in one place, a guide for those seeking to connect with Allah. It contains everything you need, a resource you can turn to every day, no matter where you are, to make your dua with ease and understanding.

It is with great honour that I continue my grandfather’s legacy, followed by my father, and Insha’Allah, one day by my children as well. As you make dua using this book, I kindly ask you to remember me, my family, my parents, my grandparents, my children, my husband, his family, my dearfriend Tahseen and Dženana, and all those who helped me in compiling, designing and editing this dua book. May Allah accept all our duas and grant us success in this life and the next.

Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW) also stated in a hadith: “Dua is the essence of worship.” Jami’ at-Tirmidhi(Hadith 3371)

In this dua booklet, I have compiled essential surahs for protection against the evil eye, hasad, and nazar, along with powerful duas from ruqyah. Additionally, it includes important duas from the Holy Qur’an and authentic hadeeths. The booklet also features duas for yourself, your family, your spouse, and your children. To further support spiritual growth, I have included a daily tasbih list and a guide to nawafil salah. While these acts of worship are not obligatory, they serve as a means to draw us closer to Allah. Every good deed, no matter how small, is a step toward earning His pleasure and strengthening our connection with Him.

It is a reminder that ultimate protection, rizq, and everything in our lives come from Allah alone. He is Al-Wakeel, the One we rely on completely, and in Him, we place our trust for all our needs and concerns.

May Allah accept our duas, bless our efforts, and grant us success in both this world and the hereafter. May He guide us, protect us, and shower us with His mercy and blessings. Ameen.
